All meetings will be conducted in the
Serna Center community rooms located on the first floor. The
Serna
Center is located at 5735 47th Avenue. Meetings are open to
the public for observation.
Committee Purpose, Role, and Responsibilities:
The Elementary Schools Utilization
Advisory (7-11) Committee is to study all aspects of our Sacramento City
Unified School District small elementary schools and to prepare
recommendations for the district’s Board of Education that promote the
most effective use of our facilities while ensuring quality learning
environments. This work may include, but not be limited to:
Outlining revenue generating programs to
fully utilize the school(s)
Determining joint use of the school(s)
with another program or school
Closing the school and using the
facility for another program, school, or purpose
