Student Board Member - The
Student Board Member
of the SAC is the public representative of the entire SCUSD student
body. He/She is a highly visible student from SCUSD that works to ensure
youth input and participation in district decision-making processes.
He/She works closely with the SAC to ensure that the viewpoints of youth
representing the diversity of SCUSD are heard in district

President -
The President of the SAC is an elected position and a public
representative of the council. He/She maintains high visibility among
students and district administration. This position works very closely
with the Student Board Member to ensure youth input and participation in
decision-making processes.

The Vice President of the
SAC is an elected position and a highly visible public representative of the
council. He/She assists the president with responsibilities and maintains
high visibility among students.

the council. He/She works to ensure youth input and participation in

He/She works to ensure youth input and participation in decision-making
processes. He/She is responsible for the management of the SAC finances.

The Historian Chair is an
appointed position and a highly visible public representative of the
council. He/She works closely with the Secretary to maintain records of SAC
meetings and activities and is responsible for maintaining the historical

Marketing Chair -
The Marketing Chair
is an appointed position and a highly visible public representative of the
council that works to ensure youth input and participation in
decision-making processes. He/She is responsible for educating the public on
the SAC’s mission and purpose through the development of promotion
materials. He/She is also responsible for coordinating SAC fundraising

Communications Chair -
The Communications Chair
is an appointed position and a highly visible public representative of the
council that works to ensure youth input and participation in
decision-making processes. He/She is responsible for maintaining
communication between the SAC, the school sites and other interested in
parties.

SAC Member
is one of four members chosen from each class level (i.e. freshmen,
sophomore, junior and senior) to be a representative from the school’s Youth
Congress. He/She is a highly visible student from the school site that works
