Response to Public Comment

Regarding the “No Time to Lose Sign” banner in the Board chambers:  Why is it still being displayed? When will it be taken down?

Response:  The banner is displayed to acknowledge the hard work and great effort that went into making the LGBTQ youth conference a success. It also serves as a reminder that the needs of these students are urgent (i.e. “No Time to Lose”). There are no plans at this point to take down the banner.
