About the State and Federal Programs Department:

The State and Federal Programs Department coordinates the work of departments, school sites and community partners in order to ensure alignment with the district’s strategic plan, Success for Every Student by Name, and state and federal program requirements.
The department provides training, support and monitoring for a variety of programs, including Title I School Choice and Supplemental Educational Services as well as other provisions of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001, services for Non-public Schools (NPS), and state programs such as the Nell Soto Parent/Teacher Home Visit Program and the State Compensatory Education (SCE) program.
