Child Welfare & Attendance Services (SART & SARB)

Description

Assigned LSU-Family Advocates (FA) and Child Welfare and Attendance Liaisons (CWA) will complete follow-up home visits, access support services and assist in and participate in the School Attendance Review Team.

Provide staff training in the attendance process.

The CWA liaisons will facilitate the Student Attendance Review Board for enforcement of the state attendance codes.

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.   Monday – Friday

Languages

School Site will provide translators as needed

Eligibility Requirements

Based on student truancy attendance criteria

Application Process

Site designee completes a FA home visit referral (pro MS-ISO)
