Maple Elementary School offers a wide variety of programs to benefit all students. Special programs include Chapter I, SIP, and bilingual. In addition to participating in the bilingual program, students in grades one, two and three who are limited English proficient participate in a specially-funded oral language program. The Chapter I computer program serves students in reading and or math, while another computer program is provided to all students through SIP. After-school activities using computers are also part of Maple's program.

The school joins with outside agencies to provide other services to students. These agencies include the Partners in Prevention, City Recreation and Parks Department, County Dental Prevention Program, Girl Scouts Whiz Kids, and the Sacramento City Police Department's Partners in Prevention.

Maple values parent involvement and community support. We have been adopted by the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Campbell's Soup Company, Kiwanis International, La Familia Counseling Center, and League of United Latin American Citizens. Our PTA sponsors fund raisers and supports activities of the school. Our business partners are Caballo Blanco and Fruitridge Road Dairy Queen.

Maple has a learning handicapped (LH) preschool-kindergarten program, and a parent participation Head Start preschool program. The school also has Chapter I, special education and a speech and language teacher.
