Children’s Center/Head Start Collaborative Full Day Program

SCUSD provides full day free or reduced State/Head Start funded child care for eligible parents.

A parent working, going to school or actively seeking work qualifies for free or reduced State funded child care by being income eligible. The family monthly income must be under a certain amount. (See Eligibility Requirements.) The lowest income is given highest priority.

If you would like to be placed on the eligibility list and enroll in Children’s Center/Head Start collaborative full day programs please call the Child Development Department at 643-7800 or come to Hiram Johnson Family Education Center at 3535 65th Street between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
