The Treasurer is an elected position and a highly visible public representative of the council. He/She works to ensure youth input and participation in decision-making processes. He/She is responsible for the management of the SAC finances.

Duties & Responsibilities:

v    Act as public relations representative for SAC

v    Assist with evaluation, report-writing and grant-writing efforts

v    Receives and records SAC income and expenditures

v    Establishes and maintains bank accounts for SAC funds

v    Works with appropriate district personnel to ensure payment of bills

v    Oversees money requests from schools
