The Marketing Chair is an appointed position and a highly visible
public representative of the council that works to ensure youth input
and participation in decision-making processes. He/She is responsible
for educating the public on the SAC’s mission and purpose through the
development of promotion materials. He/She is also responsible for
coordinating SAC fundraising efforts.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
v Assist
in the identification and implementation of youth-adult action projects
and trainings
v Act
as public relations representative for SAC
v Assist
in the development of a marketing and advertising plan for the SAC
v Assist
with submissions for the SAC website and with coordinating other public
communications
v Coordinate
fundraising activities
v Assist
with community partnership development
